Storytelling is at the heart of my work, and whether it is a lone or a sequence of images, creating pictures to feed the imagination and enhance the life of the story is what I love to do.
While I am naturally drawn towards projects that deal with the supernatural and the absurd, I have a wide range of interests and draw inspiration from history, myth and legend and work and travel in the ancient places of Europe. I have a genuine interest in collaborative work and particularly enjoy working to illuminate the ideas and intentions of others. I greatly appreciate the variation and the unexpected range of problems that working with different ideas and expectations brings.
I have a printmaking workshop in Oxford, a city full of stories that can be found both in and out of books.
